Chelsey learned to read around age three and never looked back. After starting with series like the Boxcar Children, Sweet Valley, and the Babysitter's Club, she moved on to (slightly) more sophisticated fare. Today she enjoys anything from historical nonfiction to contemporary mysteries, and, of course, sapphic romance.

Her writing journey began in the first grade and has ranged from fanfiction to sports journalism. The idea for her upcoming debut novel, Crossing Bridges, came to her on a whim and dragged her along with it. She is currently working on her next novel about a troubled young Hollywood starlet.

Chelsey lives in Texas with her two cats where she dreams of a future with real seasons. She has a bachelor's degree in history and an MBA. in her free time, she enjoys watching sports, traveling, photography, and the occasional video game.
